Island Paradise

Paradise Cove is one of the most beautiful tropical settings of crystal blue waters and coral reefs I’ve ever seen. ‘DIVA’ sits on an elevated site looking majestically down a private white sand beach and across the bay that is the main shipping route into Port Vila, Vanuatu. You got to watch cruise ships sail past!

 An extensive remodel: interiors, exterior, including landscaping.

The property had been unlived in for several years but had good bones so little structural work was required. Inside, all joinery was replaced and updated, new kitchen was installed, new bathrooms, new internal shelving units, new tiled flooring and lighting.

Dark tiled floors and dark stained cabinetry matched with crisp white walls provided a respite from the tropical heat and sunshine.

The biggest transformation was adding the surrounding landscaping I designed the concrete pathing around the house, extended the new driveway to include separate parking areas for guests and a new portico entrance way and private parking area for the owners. The back of the house was opened up with a wall of glass bi-fold doors that opened onto a huge deck that overlooked a most beautiful tropical vista.

New tropical garden beds completed the look.

The transformation of this property went from underwhelming to magnificent. It was sold shortly after the remodeling was completed. The property is now a successful luxury holiday rental and was featured on the cover of Belle magazine.
